We are seeking a digital marketing representative to help support the needs of our rapidly growing direct to customer insurance business unit, Policysweet.com. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated to assist generating creative ideas and innovation in content and advertising campaigns, implementation of website copy and (SEO) Search Engine Optimization strategy.  

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and execute a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy for our brand.
  • Develops unique content to be marketed across the PolicySweet brand and its digital properties including Social Media, Email, and other digital advertising.
  • Maintains familiarity with competitors and market conditions. May be required to gather, analyze, and maintain competitive information.
  • Reviews and researches the latest SEO techniques, implements them within the scope of their writing and presents findings to the team.
  • Uses analytics to understand and translate results into actionable items, identify efficiencies, and campaign improvement.
  • Contributes to the design and maintenance to all digital media campaigns.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of communication or marketing experience, strong preference for advanced SEO skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related.
  • Experience with wide array of media including digital, social media, and display.
  • Experience in a start-up environment, advertising agency, and/or insurance background are a plus.
  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, including exceptional digital writing and editing skills.
  • Exceptional ability to research, analyze and implement keyword based research, and distill and implement findings.
  • Must possess strong organizational, project and time management skill.
  • Must be able to directly publish on our website landing pages (Sitefinity experience or HTML skills a plus).
  • Must possess a high degree of intelligence, competence, maturity, adaptability, resilience, integrity, and initiative.
