    The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) group in the Annuity division is seeking a Risk Analyst or Senior Actuarial Analyst. 

    Responsibilities

    • Regularly gathers and aggregates monthly annuity renewal rate data in an accurate and efficient manner and distributes recommendations to senior management for approval
    • Develops and updates risk reporting metrics related to renewal rate setting, then communicates results to senior management
    • Supports the evaluation of potential future renewal rate setting strategies and assists in the implementation of new strategies
    • Supports the production of quarterly ERM risk dashboards
    • Builds relationships with Solvency, Product Development, Valuation, Planning and Finance areas
    • Communicates results to management effectively
    • Develops knowledge of fixed and indexed deferred annuity products

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
    • 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in financial or actuarial fields
    • Deferred annuity experience preferred
    • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge required
    • Requires solid computer skills and problem solving ability
    • Superior communication skills and attention to detail are essential
    • Must exhibit strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
