    Responsibilities

    • Develops, maintains, and applies relevant security policies and procedures to protect system from intentional or unintentional damage:
    • Designs, implements, administers, and tests software, and/or hardware. Ensures that proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected.
    • Performs analysis of access control and violations.
    • Participates in identifying security risks and exposures; researches potential causes of complex security violations at an advanced technical level.
    • System Administration; including Appliance Deployment & Configuration, Agent Deployment, Patching & Upgrades, Maintenance & Monitoring, Reporting, and Troubleshooting
    • Policy Configuration and Maintenance, in relation to; Data Activity Monitoring, Alerting, Masking/Redacting, and Blocking (Whitelisting or Blacklisting)
    • Work in conjunction with the Enterprise Security team to lead the development and implementation of the Data Security program for the Enterprise.
    • Build relationships with the key teams in the organization including: Database Administration teams, Data Owners, Hosting/Infrastructure, and Enterprise Information Security
    • Escalate to senior leadership any major concerns in regard to data in the organization due to security risk.
    • Track metrics and the reporting of those metrics to help the organization understand the program success
    • Performs audits to ensure compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Upgrades policies and procedures according to changing security requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline with 1-5 or years of experience
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and leverage effective relationships with database administrators, data owners, security personnel, business leaders, stakeholders, and externally
    • Strong collaboration, communication, problem solving, documentation, conceptual and analytical skills
    • Able to work at high level of autonomy in a dynamic environment
    • Experience working in a complex, distributed enterprise environment
    • Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong sense of personal accountability
    • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly and self-directed
    • Technology minded and a strong understanding of technology concepts
    • Willingness to investigate and explore, driven by the desire to learn
