    We are looking to fill a Market Intelligence Analyst position for our Annuity Sales and Marketing team. The individual in this role will be highly detail-oriented and will play a critical role in how our products are represented in the marketplace.

    Responsibilities

    • Supports the Market Intelligence Specialist in their efforts with market intel consulting activities within the Annuity Group. 
    • Develops an understanding of our key competitors, various product designs, and market trends with a basic SWOT mindset. 
    • Conducts surveillance of the industry through product filing and third-party market research sites and industry news publications. 
    • Learns to organize and analyze data in a meaningful way to support various departments within the Annuity Group, and prepares competitive intelligence reporting of basic complexity. 
    • Will be responsible for ensuring that Great American product updates and rate changes are reflected properly and timely on third party sites; will serve as a key point of contact when working with these sites. 
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • 6 months to 3 years in the financial services industry and/or marketing.
    • Annuity experience is preferred but flexible.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
    • State Life & Health and Series 6 licensing preferred, or ability to achieve within 12 months.
    • Excellent written, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
    • Desire to expand knowledge of and understand the industry with an analytical mindset.
