    This position consists of Quality Control, Quality Assurance, risk assessment, data analysis and testing of enterprise Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and system data integrations.

    • Creates and executes various testing documentation (including plans, conditions, and scripts) based on technical and user requirements:
    • Writes and maintains test automation.
    • Tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects and/or system performance including scalability and load testing.
    • Performs regression testing.
    • Ensures adequate product testing, in accordance with established standards and requirements, prior to implementation.
    • Maintains Test Script Library and/or performance test results.
    • Documents problems and coordinates resolutions.
    • Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
    • Maintains and develops business knowledge and customer relationships.


    • Contributes to the development of project plans and timelines
    • Collaborates effectively with customers, peers, and other IT groups
    • Advise manager and lead of risks, issues, and concerns
    • Attend project meetings and/or team meetings
    • Learn new software tools and skills as needed and provide recommendations on how to incorporate as applicable
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members on QA best practices
    • Creates and executes various testing documentation
    • Utilizes understanding of data systems & objects as well as SQL to perform data validations against a variety of data warehouses and data marts
    • Tests data to ensure integrity and fitness for use
    • Performs data analysis and root cause analysis of issues
    • Creates automated solutions for producing/managing test data and performing system validations
    • Performs regression testing
    • Maintains Test Automation and Test scripts
    • Maintains and develops business knowledge and customer relationships
    • Execute test plans based on appropriate coverage for the functionality being delivered
    • Works on small, medium and large size projects with varying levels of complexity
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    • Experience with SOA, Web Services and integration a plus
    • Experience with database design and modeling
    • Highly proficient in relational data base tools, including SQL
    • NoSQL experience a plus
    • Experience in Data Warehousing, Integration, Data Mapping
    • Experience in Informatica Power Center and/or DVO a plus
    • Automated testing experience a plus
    • Shell scripting a plus
    • Linux a plus
    • Development background or experience in a programming language a plus
    • Excellent organization and time management skills
    • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge in Excel
    • Demonstrates strong technical aptitude/skills
    • Ability to self-manage and stay on track with commitments; resourceful in solving problems and removing impediments
    • Ability to think creatively, champion new ideas and challenge the status quo
    • Adaptable and effectively cope with rapidly changing business landscape
    • Commercial Insurance experience, a plus
    • The ability and desire to quickly learn any of the above that you don’t already know
