    Great American’s Annuity Operations team is currently seeking a Business Research Analyst with strong Excel skills to join the team.


    • Demonstrates working knowledge of the various regulations and reporting requirements for pension risk transfer.
    • May prepare and verify various customer and regulatory statements, summaries, transactions, etc. for accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
    • Researches and resolves customer complaints and issues, escalated from other departments.
    • Documents methods and processes to resolve issues, may process corrections into the appropriate systems.
    • Identifies and recommends potential training and process improvement needs to management.
    • May communicate or draft communication to policyholders identifying issues and the resolution of the issue.
    • Reviews and releases processed transactions based on regulatory/contract compliance and accuracy.
    • Participates in projects such as reviewing impact to current policies/practices for system installs/upgrades, changes in regulatory environment, etc.
    • Builds partnerships with all areas of the business in order to effectively address account issues.
    • Applies knowledge of policies and procedures and utilizes general understanding of the business and organization. Complies with company and regulatory guidelines.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    • Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • 1 or more years of related experience
