    Great American Insurance Group's Executive Liability business unit has an IT Web Application Analyst and Developer opportunity in Schaumburg, IL (1450 American Lane 60173):  Full stack .NET Developer (Angular 4 or above)

    • Looking for a Developer with 3 years+ experience building out applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Angular 4 or above, Typescript and JavaScript. Technical Skills:
    • Experience with following JavaScript libraries: Angular 4 or above, Bootstrap, Typescript and jQuery.
    • Programming/application development experience utilizing C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Razor views. Experience with Web API 2.0 , SPA , SQL and Caching plus.
    • Knowledge of JS Test Framework like Jasmine, Mocha or Qunit is a big plus. • Experience with Win forms and SQL is not required, but a plus.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Performs development and maintenance for our business web applications
    • Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex information systems
    • Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains programs
    • Employs development techniques with emphasis on quality of software
    • Contributes to the development of project plans and timelines
    • Provides estimates for planned work • Establish an open relationship with customers, teammates, and other members of the organization
    • Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner using good coding practices and standards
    • Works collaboratively with technical and business team members to develop and maintain business solutions:
    • Unit test code for proper functionality
    • Follows the established standards, patterns, and processes
    • Quick learner and able to adjust to changing priorities
    • Participates in team planning activities
    • Operates independently with minimal supervision

    *Work On-Site is required, telecommuting or work from home is not available.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects, and rapidly changing priorities.
    • Customer-service focus and quality orientation
    • Self-motivated, takes initiative, and passionate about learning
    • Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
