With over 30 specialty property and casualty operations and a variety of financial services, there are always opportunities here to learn and grow.  The ClaimCenter Team is charged with implementing ClaimCenter across multiple business units.  ClaimCenter will replace multiple legacy systems.

    Responsibilities

    Operates independently to:

    • Assists in Enterprise Policy requirements for policy conversions needed for ClaimCenter implementations.
    • Assists in Enterprise Claim requirements for claims conversion including co-ordination with downstream systems like CDM, URS, FDW and PDC.
    • Assist customers and team members in issue resolution and problem solving
    • Assist team members in analysis, design and testing
    • Participate in test planning, development and execution in test environments, and development of User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans
    • Mentor associate-level Business Analysts

    Associated Responsiblities:

    • Knowledge transfer of business workflow to team members
    • Communicate with management and users on issue resolution
    • UAT testing support
    • Training Support

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent business experience

    Experience:

    • 5 or more years of related experience that includes some knowledge of designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and / or maintaining applications required or using application software in a business setting

    Skills:

    • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively with associates at all levels within the organization
    • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, organize and plan work to satisfy established timeframes
    • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
    • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills
    • Experience with data conversions
    • Strong Knowledge of EDW Policy design and structure
    • Ability to provide specifications for Policy Conversion team on the Enterprise Policy data structure and assists the development team with the requirements to meet the Enterprise Policy requirements
    • Knowledge or willingness to learn the ClaimCenter downstream Claim design to feed claims data to EDW.
    • Strong SQL skills (read and write queries)
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Experience in development and execution of test plans and test cases
    • Facilitate collaboration between business and IT

    Pluses:

    • Experience in gathering business requirements
    • Knowledge of the ClaimCenter application
    • Ability to read/decipher data models/schema
    • Knowledge of TOAD application helpful
    • Data warehouse concepts to include understanding of front-end data entry and back-end data consumption
    • Ability to read and understand XML
