    We are looking for a Learning and Development Specialist within our Cincinnati headquarters.


    • Develops specifications for learning and development equipment and systems, including online learning tools and learning management systems (LMS).
    • Serves as the primary LMS administrator for the Company and liaison to the LMS vendor.
    • Maintains knowledge of LMS best practices and vendor-specific software to support business needs.
    • Keeps abreast of vendor communication and upcoming system changes.
    • Performs testing for any enhancements or new functionality.
    • Manages learning technologies to ensure effective administration, including testing and posting new content, documenting all changes, and developing reports and queries for a variety of internal stakeholders.
    • Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves problems with course design and LMS configuration.
    • Responds quickly and courteously to user requests for assistance related to LMS functionality anticipates potential issues, trouble shoots systems and/or user errors and tracks until resolution.
    • Coordinates the installation of all system updates, upgrades, integrated tools and other software integrated with the LMS.
    • Develops or sources learning solutions to support business objectives and creates solutions (e.g. instructor-led, webinars, videos, online courses, quick reference guides, job aids, performance support tools, etc.) to satisfy the needs of a diverse set of learners.
    • Gathers stakeholder requirements and expectations, analyzes functional requirements, recommends and designs possible solutions to define the appropriate learning objectives, and modalities.
    • Organizes and manages multiple projects at once based on assignment priority.
    • May deliver Instructor-Led Training, webinars or virtual learning delivery when necessary.
    • Facilitates end-user training for LMS administrators within the Company.
    • Provides both technical and administrative support for in-classroom, virtual, and online learning.
    • Works with subject matter experts (SMEs) to improve processes and procedures, as needed.
    • Maintains advanced knowledge of the organization, adult learning principles, current trends in employee education, informal learning methods and opportunities to leverage technology in learning.
    • Researches and recommends services provided by external consultants or organizations.
    • Participates in negotiations and / or administering contract / service agreements. May secure appropriate approval.



    • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Human Resources field
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with learning management systems preferred. Experience with the SumTotal suite of products a plus.
    • Knowledge of SCORM compliance and Articulate Storyline and other Instructional Design software is a plus
    • Ability to problem solve, by identifying trends and extracting insights from data to develop solutions.
    • Intermediate skills using Articulate Storyline 360, Camtasia, WebEx and other web-based applications.
    • Intermediate skills using Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other web-based applications.
    • Experience producing complex documents, performing analysis and maintaining databases.
