    Responsibilities

    • Provides general administrative support to department staff. Tasks may include:
      • Prepares moderately complex to complex correspondence, memoranda, agendas, status reports, summaries, etc.
      • Downloads and extracts data from various databases.  
      • Collects, compiles and analyzes complex data to be included in reports and presentations.
      • Prepares charts, graphs, presentations and / or tables of a complex nature.
      • Facilitates logistics such as scheduling meetings, conference rooms, conference calls, etc.
      • Takes meeting minutes and action items during meetings and performs basic follow-up.
    • May prepare and maintain project plans.
    • Coordinates communications between department staff, stake holders and key resources.
    • Leverages intercompany relationships. Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of the business / functional unit, organization and industry and related policies and procedures.
    • Shares responsibility for completing projects on time, within budget and according to project specifications.
    • Ensures strong lines of communication with department staff, stakeholders and key resources.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
    Field of Study: Business or related field.
    Experience: 3 to 5 years related experience. 

    Skills:  Proficiency with various business systems and applications such as Excel, Access, Cognos, Word, and PowerPoint.  Affinity for working with numbers and data as well as with words.
