    • Design and operating multi-platform enterprise storage and data protection solutions
    • Work closely with other infrastructure teams to support baremetal and virtualized workloads
    • Engage closely with architects, engineering, and operations teams in designing and delivering highly available and scalable services.
    • Learn, deploy and document newer technologies for the potential deployment of services.
    • Drive ongoing improvements and efficiencies in operational practices, tools & processes.
    • Developing and maintaining installation and configuration procedures for the environment.
    • Install software, apply patches, monitor performance and troubleshoot alerts.
    • Provide on-call support as needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned




    • Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent experience.

    Skill Set:

    • Storage – EMC, SAN, NAS, XtremIO, Isilon, VNX
    • Operating Systems - Windows 2016, 2012 and 2008, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 & 7
    • Scripting – Powershell, Bash, Perl, PowerCLI
    • Provisioning – vSphere, vRO
    • Networking - Infoblox, F5, Cisco
    • Database – Oracle, MS SQL
    • Hardware – Cisco UCS, vBlock, HP



    • Storage Requirements:
      • Advanced knowledge of Storage Area Networking and associated storage arrays
        • EMC Storage – vBlock, VNX, Isilon, XtremIO, etc.
      • Experience designing and operating large scale Storage Area Networking systems
      • Experience with management and monitoring tools like SolarWinds, vROps, Performance manager, etc.
      • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies
      • 3-5 years hands-on administration of large enterprise storage environments
      • Well versed in virtualization technologies such as VMware ESX or Hyper-V
      • Understanding of design principals of Storage Area Networks
      • Experience in the management of operating systems environments
      • Advanced troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate with various teams and levels of management.
    • Must be able to work independently in the absence of supervision.
    • Developing, maintaining, and executing business continuity plans for disaster recovery.
    • Systems engineering background with an understanding of cloud computing, building distributed systems, and platform hosting



    • PowerShell, PowerCLI or similar scripting ability to automate tasks and perform basic data analysis.
    • Install, configure and administer Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux Servers.
    • Knowledge of using configuration management tools.
    • Exposure to Software Defined Storage such as VSAN or ScaleIO.
    • Experience with Hyper Converged Infrastructure such as VxRail or Nutanix
