    Summit is looking for an IT manager with Web Development management experience with an understanding of Java, JavaScript, Jira, Bitbucket, Angular, and web development methodologies. Summit's core applications are developed on the IBMi in RPG ILE, so an understanding of the IBMi environment is highly desirable.


    Ideal candidate will have:

    • Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, IT principles and guidelines
    • Working knowledge of programming concepts & relational database design
    • Proven analytical & organizational skills
    • Effective written & verbal communication skills 



    • Manages projects: develops and executes project plans; establishes scope and target dates; facilitates & leads project meetings; provides ongoing communication to management on project status; coordinates and monitors project assignments
    • Manages staff to develop system testing strategies, plans, cases & conditions; monitors testing efforts and ensures application development meets business requirements
    • Leads developers including mentoring, coaching, and feedback; appraises & evaluates team as well as individual performance; provides compensation recommendations
    • Collaborates with other departments to manage & coordinate interdepartmental activities to ensure that Summit meetings both internal & external customer expectations; coordinates & participates in production support as needed to ensure customers receive prompt & efficient resolutions


    Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

    Field of Study: Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.

    Experience: 3-5 or more years of related experience; specifically IT management experience; exhibits leadership qualities.
