    Use your Property Casualty Insurance background within our Predictive Analytics Unit where our Project Managers work with Business Units, our Data Analysts and Modelers to understand business challenges and opportunities and develop and implement actionable insights.  Our ideal candidate possesses intellectual curiosity, the ability to lead and influence without direct authority, excellent problem solving and communication skills working in a collaborative team oriented environment.     

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinates activities of Project Team (may act as Team Lead/Business Unit Liaison)
    • Assists with developing business understanding (including organizational structure, knowledge of Business Unit goals & objectives, financials, products, coverages, systems and processes)
    • Participates in discussions with Business Units to develop requirements and clarify customer expectations
    • Develops Project Plan and documents important project information
    • Develops and manages schedule to insure timely completion of project(s)
    • Monitors and summarizes project status
    • Develops customer relationships and ensures frequent and effective communication between all project team members including stakeholders and key resources  and senior management
    • Interacts with other Great American shared service divisions such as IT, PDC, Legal, and Corporate Claims
    • Assists Team with developing implementation plan, testing and training
    • Facilitates post-project assessment/lessons learned & develops methods to improve customer service and satisfaction

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • 2 or more years of Property and Casualty experience in Underwriting, Product Management, or Claims 
    • Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
