    • Lead and coach a highly efficient team, create a culture of continuous learning and development.
    • Tracks and manages the overall testing effort of a project, the Quality Assurance team, the Quality Assurance process and / or the execution of the test plan:
      • Ensures that the testing is completed on time and meets all functional requirements, as defined during the requirement definition process.
      • Ensures products, applications and systems are in compliance with established quality standards and meet customer requirements.
    • Ensures necessary knowledge management documentation. Advises Quality Assurance Analysts on how to write the documentation and reviews the material for accuracy, completeness and usability. Applies knowledge of tools used necessary to complete work.
    • May be responsible for driving strategic best practices, in the area of quality and test, within Information Technology and throughout the business.
    • Has responsibility for performance, development and coaching of staff (i.e. hiring, firing, performance management, salary increases, etc.). Ensures new members of the team / unit receive training.


    • BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
    • 5+ years experience leading a technical team in software QA or development.
    • Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and build processes.
    • Experience with continuous integration tools and processes such as Jenkins and Maven preferred.
    • Experience writing, maintaining and executing automation tests using frameworks such as Selenium, Java or similar preferred.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently with an aptitude for supervising/directing quality assurance engineers along with a proven history of making product lifecycle process improvements.
