  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
    • Prepare detailed design specifications from which programs will be written.
  • Design, code, test, debug, documents and maintain application programs.
  • Consult with users or other IT Professionals to resolve issues with programs.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans and timelines.
  • Provide estimates for planned work and executes to schedule.
  • Guide the development of the team in overall application technology design activities.
  • Update the development schedule and proactively communicates issues or constraints.
  • Implementation and on-going enhancement of business applications utilizing a broad range of development tools and technologies.
  • Expertise/familiarity with Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0+, C#, VB.NET, MVC, EF, LINQ, IIS, and MS SQL.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • BS/BA in a technical field: Computer Science, Engineering or IT related discipline
  • 5+ years of development experience, preferred focus on the Microsoft technology stack

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Understanding of Object-Oriented analysis and design.
  • Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns including MVC.

  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture – specific development experience with web services and workflow (WCF).

  • High attention to detail and software quality.

  • Experience balancing and prioritizing multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlines.

  • Experience with database design and modeling.

  • Experience with PowerShell, HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and UI/UX design.

  • SharePoint development/administration experience is a plus.

  • Java development knowledge or experience is a plus.

  • Experience with source code versioning and change management practices utlizing Git, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and/or VSTS. TFS development/administration experience is a plus.

  • Understanding of project and configuration management practices.

  • Experience and understanding of Agile methodologies is a plus.
