In the Product Designer role, candidates will:

  • Solve the right problems and understand user needs to deliver new or improved products and services that have real impact
  • Ship products that create user and business value
  • Work with a cross-disciplinary product team and pair up with your customers from early discovery work to framing the opportunity, then validating the interaction design through to applying the visual detail
  • Run research sessions and synthesis with the team as a part of the design process and you are in charge of
  • Try out new processes, especially in the spirit of Cloud Native Design - do what works, try new things, and stop doing things that don’t work


Required Skills / Experiences

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Have experience designing full-service consumer and business applications
  • Lead products from discovery and framework through iterative development and delivery
  • Maintain a user-centered approach in design perspective and practice
  • Guide product decisions through user research, customer development, and iterative feedback loops
  • Bring deep experience in user research, interaction design or visual design
  • Have experience with and curiosity of Cloud Native and Lean philosophies
  • Have experience working independently with customers or stakeholders in a consulting role

Desired Skills / Experiences

  • Have experience enabling customers in user centered design best practice
  • Very experienced in user research methodologies and can educate others
  • Show command of modern front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g. HAML/SASS, grid systems, responsive design, CSS, etc.)
