Responsibilities

  • Project Management, develops and executes project plans; establishes scope and target dates; facilitates and leads project meetings; provides ongoing communication to management on project status; coordinates and monitors project assignments.
  • Manage staff to develop system testing strategies,plans, cases and conditions, monitors testing efforts and ensures application development meets business requirements.
  • Manages individual contributors and provides mentoring, coaching, and feedback; appraises and evaluates team and individual performance and makes compensation recommendations.

  • Works with other departments to manage and coordinate interdepartmental activities in order to ensure that Summit meets both internal and external customer expectations.  Coordinates and participates in production support as needed to ensure that customers receive prompt and efficient resolutions.

Qualifications

 Candidate needs strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, IT principles and guidelines. Working knowledge of programming concepts and relational database design. Knowledge of IBM I (iSeries) RPG, SQL, and DB2 is highly desirable. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Effective communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business discipline require or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of IT management experience; exhibits leadership qualities.
