Responsibilities

  • Provide 3rd level support for Macintosh user community
  • Excellent customer facing skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot Mac platform including certificates, encryption, domain binding, policy management, core applications
  • Experience with customer service, troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving
  • Ability to manage Macintosh community using JAMF (Casper)
  • Application packaging and deployment management with JAMF for Mac and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager for Windows devices
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, and 2016
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows XP, 7, 8.1 and 10
  • Advanced knowledge of Office products including Office 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016
  • Advance knowledge and experience with migrating to Office 365 including Microsoft InTune
  • Collaborates with other technical staff to resolve problems with Software / Infrastructure systems
  • Work independently in the absence of supervision
  • Create technical environment documentation

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years hands-on IT Support for Macintosh and Windows devices
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting Mac OSX, Microsoft Windows 7, 10
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting Mac OS
  • Proven skills in troubleshooting Mac issues
  • Must be able to support, configure, and troubleshoot a wide range of applications and operating systems with emphasis on Mac platform
  • Knowledge of JAMF (Casper) for Macs and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager for Window’s devices
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager tools, processes
  • Ability to setup Mac or Windows devices
  • Document procedures for other team members
  • Intermediate to high level knowledge of Windows Administration
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment with many deadlines and competing priorities
  • Requires exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, and the individual must possess a structured, methodical approach to systems administration
  • Ability to work with other teams and vendors to troubleshoot and triage issues
  • Experience in administering MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions
  • Experience with networking technologies (TCP/IP, routing, etc.)
  • Experience with Office 365
  • Experience managing various browsers
  • Experience with providing training and coaching, either to customers or to internal colleagues
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
  • OS Configuration (Certs, DNS search, Drive Encryption, Domain Binding, Admin for LAPS), and Core Application Delivery (Office, Skype, SCEP, DLP, FireEye, Identity Agent, Phish Reporter, Snow)
