Our Product Data & Compliance (PDC) department supports Specialty’s business units in achieving their growth and profitability objectives by managing and filing current products and assisting business units in the development and implementation of new or improved products. In addition, PDC specializes in compliance research, training and regulatory reporting for P&C insurance products.


PDC is currently seeking a Compliance Filing Analyst or Compliance Filing Specialist at the company’s headquarters in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.


  • Coordinates and administer all aspects of filings with state insurance departments including submitting filings with the appropriate regulatory authorities and analyzing and responding to objections and inquiries from state regulatory authorities. 
  • Resolves and/or assists with researching, documenting, and communicating complex compliance related issues. 
  • Maintains the review, approval and implementation of assigned filings and ensures compliance with statutory requirements.
  • May monitor pertinent insurance publications to determine impact on line of business from a compliance perspective.
  • Partners with the IT department on prioritization, implementation, and enhancements of operational systems to ensure policy administration system is both effective and efficient in conjunction with product managers.
  • Assists product managers in researching past filings and competitor information.
  • May have the responsibilities for the performance and coaching of staff.


Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience


Field of Study: Business, Liberal Arts or a related discipline


Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of related experience. Progression toward certification in area of expertise preferred; a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Program in General Insurance (INS), or Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI), Associate Insurance Regulatory Compliance (AIRC), Certified Compliance Professional (CCP), and Associate Compliance Professional (ACP).


Scope of Job: Performs work under moderate supervision and technical direction. Familiar with basic concepts, practices and procedures. Works with limited latitude on assignments of low to routine technical complexity.
