Responsibilities

  • Oversees the planning and development of Business Process engineering activities associated with operational systems, through best practices and the appropriate staffing and management:
  • Demonstrates expertise of Lean Six Sigma and Lean methodologies while analyzing the most complex opportunities & problems from a cross-functional perspective. Ensures completion of time and cost estimates and the establishment and implementation of new or revised processes, standards, controls and associated programs. Develops measurable & sustainable results.
  • Develops and implements project plans with short and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Utilizes technical expertise to influence and advise leadership in an objective manner.
  • Has responsibility for performance, development and coaching of staff (i.e. hiring, firing, performance management, salary increases, etc.). Ensures new members of the team / unit receive training.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution; graduate degree is preferred

 

Experience: 8 or more years of progressive experience; exhibits leadership qualities

 

Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt as certified by an industry recognized organization with a strong proficiency of implementing Lean methodologies through various functions within an organization
