Our Crop Insurance Division provides the tools producers need in the form of specialized crop insurance coverages, which can insure their revenue stream even if elements outside their control go awry. That means even in the face of a worst-case scenario producers will have the guaranteed income they need to keep their operation functioning properly. 

 

We are looking to fill a Marketing Representative position to cover the Central and Eastern territory of Kansas.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving premium development and retention/persistency goals.
  • Works collaboratively with management to develop, monitor and adapt a business / marketing plan for area of responsibility and to support division goals.
  • Builds strategic relationships with business partners (clients agents, brokers, producers) to achieve targeted profit goals of the division.
  • Collaborates with Underwriting, Product Development, Product Management, Corporate Legal and Corporate Communications to develop marketing initiatives, new products and the supporting marketing materials.  May collaborate with other business units on cross-marketing efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Six months or more of crop insurance related experience (Sales/Claims).
  • Sales experience is helpful, but not required.
  • Knowledge of local production agriculture.

*Overnight travel is 60% across the assigned territory.
